One of the issues with training materials is that they tend to be both proprietary and confidential. We really respect the privacy of our clients and do not typically make examples available here on our website. However, some of our clients have kindly permitted us to share a number of modules as examples of our work, which are shown here. We would be happy to provide access to a broader set of samples as part of a conversation about your training content requirements.
There’s an inherent value contained within training materials. They often deal with a proprietary concept, a novel approach to customer interactions or just a large amount of intellectual property. Best guard it well. — James Ringrose, CEO, RCP Learning.
Explainer Videos Galore
Explainer videos galore – RCP Learning has made well over 4,000 videos to augment online training eLearning modules. Explainer videos are not the universal cure for all training needs, but they are able to address even complex subjects.
3D Medical and Product Videos
3D Videos are powerful and offer one of the best ways of showing complex medical and other procedures. RCP learning uses true 3D to render real-world object and simulations. Although 3D can take longer than regular animations the effort is rewarded with clarity and details that is not practical either using real-life examples or 2D models.
Hospital IQ
Hospital IQ – An animation intended to explain and illustrate the company’s planning and management software platform for healthcare. It’s sometimes hard to see how a complex subject can be simplified for an animation. Studies show that the act of “explaining” a complex subject often reveals the best way to help viewers understand the subject. In this case, the animation made the connection between the software and the hospital employees.
Sterilis
Sterilis needed a training video (in fact a series of videos) that explained the basics of using their innovative new sterilization machine. This video is an example of “Mixed Media.” The videos of using the device are enhanced with graphics and animations. The graphics are intended to augment the video and provide reinforcing information. This approach works well with any procedural training such as this.
Boston Heart Health Diagnostics
Boston Heart Diagnostics – This animation was intended to explain to patients how the Boston Heart Diagnostics Life Plan works and how it can help a patient improve their overall healthcare and well-being. It takes the materials that were created for the program and uses them in a creative way to explain each step. By retaining a visual style that is consistent with print course materials the animation is able to ensure a strong connection to the rest of the training program.
3D Machinery Breakdowns
3D Machinery Breakdowns – Don’t want to cut your precious engine in half to show students? 3D breakdown videos make looking inside a complex piece of machinery easy and cost-effective. Almost any kind of component can be modeled and explained this way.
Spectra Fund Management Software
Spectra Fund Management Software – The Fundhive software video was made for the launch of Spectra, an overview of a new Fund Management end-to-end publishing system. Part of a series of product videos. Shot in our studio in Boston. This is a mixed media piece involving creating an artificial world for the actor to interact with elements of the software product.
RCP Learning Animation Styles
At RCP Learning – We have a huge range of animation styles. Each works for different audiences. A millennial on a phone, an executive on his office pc, each is looking for a different type of learning experience. The flexibility of animation allows us to match the subject matter with the target audience and provide engaging, entertaining and educating learning experience. The ubiquity of mobile devices also demands that all types of content are designed with multiple platforms in mind.
Sometimes an animation means something different
At RCP Learning – Sometimes an animation needs to be more corporate. This particular style is beneficial for information if it contains a significant amount of text or numbers. This approach retains the visual interest of other animation styles but delivers a much-needed lift, to what could be monotonous information, if presented in a written form. The act of creating a short form animation forces the authors to focus on the essential information, with makes it more digestible.
The essence of animation is simplicity
At RCP Learning – The essential and animations that make them so effective training is the combination of visual entertainment with learning. Studies have shown that enjoyable learning is more effective, has a higher level of retention and students report enthusiastically about the learning experience. RCP Learning has developed thousands of animations in a multitude of styles for a very broad range of subjects.
Award winning animators and designers
At RCP Learning – We are very proud of our outstanding animation team. Each new animator is asked to produce a sample animation in a different style from their regular work. Everyone is encouraged to explore and expand their repertoire of styles and designs. Our focus on leading-edge technology and Agile cloud-based production processes have led to the company winning numerous awards for both animations and videos. Check out our awards page here.
Many People on The Move
Some times you need to have a number of people walking, moving and interacting. It is time consuming, but creates a great look.
